Description

1. Character's name: Yudraah
2. Link to character's creator: :iconscyhnlledwyrh:
3. Age/sex: unknown, female
4. Height/tail length/horn length: 5'5", 8.5' unstretched, varies from seperate horns, and durring the seasons
5. Ideal place in nature: Taking care of her carnivorous plants
6. Clothing/accessory style: Usually nude, as the concept of nudity isn't disturbing to her, though when needed, She wheres a cloth similar to cheese-cloth, in a draped fashion, usually g=henld on by simple twine or strings. However, she is constantly seen wearing a black posture collar from her former life/self, considering her vocal chords were destroyed, and some of her vertibrae missing from being pecked out by scavanger birds. Stone disks replaced them, though with their poor form, and connectivity, they eleongated her neck and she wouldn't be able to support the weight of her head without the collar.
7. Favorite food: spinach or tomatoes, and all citrus fruits
8. Favorite color(s): Black, purple, white and gray
9. Features that stand out?: Her horns, which swoop back and coil together, making what appears to be a trunk or a strange bonzai tree. Each horn in gnarled like a branch as well. Her horns were another piece of her that the tree gifted her with, or were a side-effect, rather, for when it compensated her missing/ rotted limbs/organs/bones. The horns are plant-like oganisms that change with the seasons. In the summer, she sprouts vibrant green ginko-biloba-like leaves. Only several, never enough to clump. In the fall, the fade, wilt and fall off, though a couple are vibrant and standing all year around. In the winter, her horns produce a few white holly-like berries, which are poisonous, mostly, and plucked, planted, and cared for correctly, create a certain kind of vine-like carnivorous plants. In the spring, a few flowers bud, white with greenish blue staemin that are carnivorous, like sundews, but innactive.
10. Other personality traits: (1-3 paragraphs)
Yudraah was not originally Langurhali, nor from the dimentional Earth that they were created on. She was originally a Phantasmegorian Sphinx from a parallel universe, that which had no other name but "Home". The passing over from this universe is unknown to even her, as she retained no rememories of her past life; not after her death in this strange new place, and she has no knowledge of her ever being from a different universe. Her oldest memories are of her re-creation on the roots of the Willow Tree.
Her cause of death was unknown as well, though it appeared that she was wounded in flight and was mangled upon impact. The Willow took interest in her, as she slowly began to decay, noticing that she was as much a stranger on this Earth as the Willow itself. The Willow was cautious with her, nudging delicately at the remanings of her aura, of her will. The Willow sensed that she was not an evil being in her life, and that she lived to harm none, though the Willow couldn't retain all her aspects, thoughts and memories.
Taking pity on her death, the Willow saw to her saving, her resurrection, in essence. Seeing the the Willow loved the Langurhali, and knew that they were good natured, concious and unique creatures, who could channel the Willows thoughts and essense, the Willow used an amount of it's energies to replicate the Langurhali in re-creating the sphinx. The Willow was able to regenerate her brain, and much of her organs, though she could not save it all. Several of her bones, the scavanger animals had stolen, were replaced by wood and stone. She grew fur to protect her sensitive skin from the earths sun, retained many of her feline traits, though her jaw and much of her face were recreated. Her wings, too mangled to save, withered and turned to wood-like protrusions from her back. Horns grew from her temples, also wood-like, and her avian feet, far too decayed, were replaced by something of a mix between feline feet, and wood-like trunks/roots.
The Willow named this new creature, Yudraah. She was a quiet creature, only able to make small trilling and hooting sounds from her ruptured vocal chords. Shorter than many of the other Langurhali, she usually preferrs being alone, as she's easily intimidated. She is known through much of the forest for her ability to grow strange and exotic plants, and has become known as "The Botanist." Taking a particular liking to carnivorous or semi-active plants, due to her anatomical production of berries that can grow plants, she has a large, deadly garden in the tropical ranges of the forest surrounding the Willow, aiding to it's protection. She sleeps in a bed of large, mutant sundews, where bladderworts climb delicately over, and large trapping-plants such as venus flytraps surround it. Pitcher plants hang from above, furthering her protection as she sleeps, for she is incredibly paranoid, concidering she can't scream. She's shy, tentative, easily intimidated but very kind, and her nurturing personality is apparent in her gardening and plant breeding.
